This Privacy Policy covers ProfitTools’s policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Data / Personally Identifiable Information (as defined by applicable law and hereinafter collectively referred to as “Personal Data”) each time you interact with ProfitTools.

What Personal Data does ProfitTools collect?

a) Website registration

Website visitors may be invited to register at profittools.eu by opting-in on the website and providing their name, surname, company name, email address and phone number. The data might be used to (i) provide information regarding our Services; (ii) answer potential inquiries; (iii) help us maintain and improve Services offered. Visitors can opt-out of marketing communications following the instructions described in the emails received.

b) Direct Marketing

Potential Customers might be approached by ProfitTools via e-mail or phone without prior consent for the purpose of direct marketing. Personal data used for such communication may include name, surname, job title, email address, phone number and links to publicly available social profiles. All the Personal Data are manually processed, stored and qualified in our CRM following ProfitTools Data Processing Procedure. Before contacting we do our best to validate if selected Contact Person may have the actual interest in the services provided by Profittools, and therefore such communication may be regarded as the legitimate interest to contact.

In the case of direct marketing all the information about the personal data, it’s sources and rights of the individual contacted is provided in the Disclaimer section at the bottom of the first e-mail. It also includes the options for the individual to avoid further contacting or to remove personal data altogether.

c) Log-File Information

Log file information is automatically reported by your browser each time you access a web page. Server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, the number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information. Log-File data might be used for debugging purposes and to improve our products and services.

Is Personal Data collected by or disclosed to Third Parties?

ProfitTools does not sell collected Personal Data to any third party. Information is collected to facilitate the Services offered or for internal analysis relating to product improvements. Personal Data collected might be shared with the following third parties to facilitate the provision of the Services as follows:

a) Customer Relationships Management

ProfitTools utilizes services provided by PipelineDeals.com to manage its customer relationships and the information and data associated with those customers. Personal information may include customer’s name, surname, job title, email address, phone number, links to publicly available profiles and records of previous communications. Data is collected and utilized by PipelineDeals.com in accordance with the PipelineDeals Privacy Policy.

b) Communications Management

ProfitTools utilizes services provided by Yesware.com to organize and manage its email communications with existing or potential Customers. Personal information may include customer’s name, surname, job title and email address. Data is collected and utilized by Yesware.com in accordance with the Yesware Privacy Policy.

c) Analytics

ProfitTools utilizes Google Analytics to access anonymous and/or pseudo-anonymous data to help us understand how our services are used. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool that helps us understand how users engage with our website so that we can review and improve our Services. Google Analytics provides a report to us with website trends without identifying the Personal Data of individual users. Website usage is tracked using Google Analytics in accordance with Google’s Data Privacy and Security Policy. However, if you decide to withdraw your consent to such data collection, you may opt-out by installing Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

d) Other Potential Third-Party Disclosures

Personal Data may also be disclosed to third parties (i) as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process; (ii) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request, or (iii) if ProfitTools is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets.

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify users about law enforcement or court-ordered requests for Personal Data unless otherwise prohibited by law.

How does ProfitTools comply with GDPR regulations relating to children?

We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child under the age of 16 has provided us with Personal Data without their consent, he or she should contact ProfitTools at info@profittools.eu. We will delete such Personal Data from our CRM within a commercially reasonable time, but no later than required under the applicable law relating the child’s country of residence.

How long does ProfitTools retain Personal Data collected?

Unless erasure is otherwise requested by a Customer, ProfitTools will retain Personal Data as long as it might be used for direct marketing purposes.

How can I review, transfer, restrict the use of or request erasure of Personal Data?

What is ProfitTools’s security policy?
We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, destruction or alteration.

How does ProfitTools respond to “Do Not Track” signals?

“Do Not Track” is a feature enabled on some browsers that send a signal to request that a web application disable its tracking or cross-Platform user tracking. At present, ProfitTools does not respond to or alter its practices when a Do Not Track signal is received.

How will you notify about the changes to your Privacy Policy?

If ProfitTools makes material changes to its Privacy Policy, it will be published on ProfitTools’s website at profittools.eu.
